Infoscaler's Sales Process Tracking application is a web application that makes critical data throughout a company's sales cycle available to the Sales department so that they can close, monitor and renegotiate deals efficiently. Our objective was to design a very user-friendly sales tracking application that would help generate new deals, simplify sales processes and keep information flowing across different levels of an organization.
The application has a menu driven interface that allows users to navigate to different areas of the application easily. Three types of processes are tracked by this application - Deal, Renegotiation and Tactical. Users can add more processes and any process can be edited with a status assigned as Won account, Lost account, or Renewed account.
The application has an interactive "Dashboard" that provides accurate reporting on each process in a graphical format. Process progress is presented in easy-to-read graphical Bar charts and Pie charts. Reports can be further drilled down to "Regions" by clicking on a map.
Besides the dashboard functionality the application has extensive reporting capabilities. Users are able to view several customized reports in a user-friendly format. A search engine is also available with the application. The admin site allows the administrator(s) to manage users and customers. Several forms were provided for updating data.
